2025 CAMPAIGN: COLLABORATIVE SCIENCE COMMUNICATION
Science communication is more than just delivering facts—it’s about building understanding, trust, and engagement between researchers, health professionals, policymakers, media, and the public. It involves translating complex evidence into meaningful messages, engaging diverse audiences in dialogue, and empowering people to use evidence in their decisions.
It spans a wide array of approaches, from infographics and podcasts to theatre, games, TikTok, storytelling, AI-powered platforms, and social media strategies.
Critically, it is also about who gets to speak and who is heard. Inclusive, participatory communication—especially involving marginalised voices, Indigenous knowledge systems, and community co-production—is essential for equitable healthcare and addressing structural barriers in global health.
By focusing on science communication, the World EBHC Day 2025 campaign aims to foster discussion and contribute to global discourse on the human, cultural, technological and political dynamics that shape how evidence travels—and transforms lives.
We invite the global evidence community to share your innovations, experiences, challenges, lessons learned and promising failures around inclusive, participatory science communication by submitting a blog, vlog or hosting an event.
